External law degree programmes are an increasingly popular way of studying English law. The University of London is the leading institution for LLB and LLM external law degrees. Many other institutions are now also offering similar courses. Distance learning external programmes offer flexibility for the student but do not generally offer individual student support.

Using state-of-the-art video conferencing software built-in to our website there is no need to download any additional software. The only requirement is that you have a modern computer with speakers, a webcam and microphone.

Once you have booked a lesson you will receive a confirmation email with the date and time of your lesson and a link to your private virtual tutor room. Your tutor will be waiting for you, ready to start your lesson.

Marking and Feedback

In order to assess your progress on your course before you take the all important examinations, it is a good idea to have your work marked, assessed and receive feedback. Our marking service will provide you with a predicted grade, feedback on your work and support and assistance in respect of the same.

Notes

Your tutor can also provide written notes on any area of law that you are studying on the distance learning external programme.

Model Answers

So that you are aware of the standards you must meet in order to be successful on your course, our tutors prepare written model answers to questions from past external exam papers. This model of learning is proven to be extremely successful and is used on many full time courses in the UK including the LPC and BVC.
